Landscape intervention with local artists and performance at the National Cultural Center. Measures, 180 square meters of taffeta fabric. Duration, variable. Georgetown, Guyana. 2022.
The project – articulated in two stages – is part of the celebration of the 51st anniversary of bilateral relations between Chile and the Cooperative Republic of Guyana (GY).
The first stage, included a workshop with Guyanese art students who, together with the artist, sought to learn about and make visible the wind on the beaches near Georgetown.
The second stage, brought the chilean artist together with scenic creators belonging to two of the five most significant ethnic groups in Guyana, whom she invited to create a piece that included an orange blanket as a central element of their choreography. This piece was presented at the National Cultural Center, in a very significant moment in the socio-cultural context of the country.

El proyecto – articulado en dos etapas – se enmarca en la celebración del 51° aniversario de las relaciones bilaterales entre Chile y la República Cooperativa de Guyana (GY).
La primera etapa, contempló la realización de un workshop con estudiantes de arte guyaneses, quienes, junto a la artista, buscaron conocer y visibilizar el viento de playas cercanas a Georgetown.
La segunda etapa, reunió a la artista chilena con creadores escénicos, pertenecientes a dos de los cinco grupos étnicos más significativos de GY, a quienes invitó a realizar una pieza que incluyera una manta anaranjada como un elemento central de su coreografía. Dicha pieza, fue presentada en el National Cultural Center, en un momento muy significativo dentro, en el contexto sociocultural del país.
